I have a friend that I made some C12 Gernades for so he could get some Combat XP while working on Master Rifleman. He tried one out last night on a lair and it did 8 damage. I had him give me one and I used it and hit the same lair for 1000 damage. After looking this morning I found a post that said it is because he is a Wookie.
Why can't Wookies use gernades? I had never seen this anywhere before. Do the devs just hate Wookies? If a Wookie becomes a Commando can they use gernades then (even the C12 that everyone elsecan use variety)? What else can't Wookies use (besides armor).
I'm so confused....(nothing new about that)

The certification for the C12 is messed up for wookiees, for no particular reason. It was probably just an oversight, but don't hold your breath on it getting fixed any time soon. My guess would be that all the other grenades would work just fine since those certifications are actually given to the player upon gaining skills in commando.

C12 has been broken for wookies and trandos for months, and they haven't even acknowledged the problem.

About how many crates of Imperial Detonators will I go through to fill all 6 branches?

I would reccomend0 Imperials. Thermal Dents are far cheaper and have armor pierce 2. I find i make roughly 100K fs xp a crate of grenades. So just have to figure out total fs xp divided by number of crates

Was discussing this with a friend and we concluded that if you're still at the start of the FS grind (need all 6 branches) and are planning on using grenades, it's worth it to pick up master commando and use protons. I had 2 free unlocks, did one branch with thermals, and did the other 3 branches with protons. Protons are much cheaper in the long run ... you'll probably need less than half as many protons as thermals. Anyway, your choice.
