Thread: FS Grinding Template Q's

Hello,
I just got back into the game about 3 weeks ago and I'm trying to catch up on things. I just wanted to know what some good FS grinding templates are. Right now im Master Doctor and Master TKA and only get to trade in my Unarmed Combat XP and my General Combat XP. My FS skills are in combat prowess and Enhanced reflexes so I dont get to trade in any medical xp (going for Melee Speed, Melee Accuracy, Vehicular control, Melee Defense, Ranged Defense, andRanged Accuracy.) I am sick of having to return to the village so much to trade in when my unarmed xp is capped. I just wanted to know some good templates for making it so that I can return with more XP to trade in. Unarmed, Pistol, Carbine, Rifle xp, type of thing. I appreciate any suggestions on a new template ( I still have my respec avail) and maybe any changes that i should make to my FS skills.

This is just an idea, but since you're a doc already you could drop it to 4003, Brawler 4444, TKM, Pike 0400, Swordsman 0400. This would let you heal fairly well and also give semi-decent buffs for yourself. The TKM would be good for offense as well as defense, the Pike 0400 for area attacks and the Swordsman 0400 for just the extra FS xp. Pike and Swords caps at 900k. TKM at 1.2mil and Doc would be just to heal. The only problem would be your CL lvl would be 75, as per KSWGProf builder. This shouldn't be too much of a problem with the heals and buffs.

You sure? I have currently BH/Commando and I cap at 1.2 mil for commando but 900k for pistols, rifles, and carbines, and 75k for scout.

skcor I threw your template into the calculator and noticed that you still have 22 skill points still available. Just wanted to know what you did with them or if you are saving them for FS skills.

In the interest of making your life easier, I wouldn't drop any more skills to get FS ones. Just bank your XP, unlock the skills in each phase, and wait until you unlock your last one to train them all. That way you don't have to sacrifice your normal skills until the end.

my temp for grinding to jedi was
master swordsman
tka 4-4-0-0
pikeman 0-4-4-0
fencer 4-0-0-0
was able to cap 1.2 mill for each of the 4 classes for a total of 4.8 m plus the 300k combat xp for a total trip to the village being 170k fs xp.
My suggestion would be to go..
TKM, and for the other 3 melee professions is to get all the def ones possible, plus on pike the offense. Which this temp you will be able to tank. and with one cm with area heal you will be able to tank like no ones business.
When I was tanking with my temp, with steak and cob, I could tank a CL 82 piket lair, and when they were hitting me I think they did about 42 points of damage. don't remember which tree but you will want to have area taunt to help keep any docs alive.
Also believe you can get the 4.8 mill cap with range but you would need to pick up Commando for the heavey weapons xp.
