Chances are you found someone else's ship. The supply crates automatically appear in your inventory, you don't have to actually look for them (in case that's what you are doing.) Check your inventory to make sure you didn't just miss the system message when you drove by the ship. I just did this quest a couple of days ago with my alt and had no issues at all. Turn on your overhead map (ctrl + m) and fly in a circle a little ways away from the waypoint and look for the closest rectangular blob on your map and go there. If that is the only ship around, I think you can just go back to Whip and request a new waypoint. If all else fails, file a ticket using the closest category related to you issue, I would choose quests or something like that. Hope this helps.

It just happened to me. I filed a ticket and CSR said its a known issue. Have you managed to work it out?

no i didnt but they must have a "workaround" to fix it to do it

yup it worked and now i havent had any more problems

Workaround is you go back to Whip and get a new one. Everyone has this same problem usually on the third pickup.
