I have looked through the forums extensively so if I've missed it somewhere I apologize. I was expecting an email from SOE with the long code so that I may start my alt character once I reached Padawan. Ok I haven't received anything. Should I just up and create a new character on my server or contact SOE directly for what I need. Please dont flame, I wouldn't ask if I could've figured it out. Thanks

You can just go ahead and create it, I was expecting an email as well but didn't get it. I tried to see what would happen and poof, my new alt was born

Thing that sucks about an alternate is that you cant have both characters on at the same time. Therefore you cant have doctor and jedi on at the same time to buff him. However, it is possible to get the doctor on and buff the jedi while LD, then just log on with the jedi and hes buffed.

I'm sorry to post this, but I wasn't able to find the answer in any of the guides.
One I unlock the alt, can I re-roll my main character and still keep my alt?

I believe your alt is main toon sensetive, which means if you lose your jedi, you lose your alt for good as well.

you can kill your main character and play with your alt (which becomes the main then).
so if you then want to have a 2nd char, get your new main (the old alt öÖö) to padawan
so if you then want to have a 2nd char, get your new main (the old alt öÖö) to padawan

Re-rolling: The second slot (non-Jedi character) is tied to your slot with the Jedi character. As long as you have a slot with a Jedi character the other slot can be re-rolled (delete the character and create a new one) as many times as you want. However, you can never re-roll your Jedi character though, that is unless you make the character on your other slot also a Jedi as well, at which point your could re-roll your first Jedi character (but it would not be re-rolled as a Jedi).
