I'm seeing quite abit of stuff here on grinding with grenades. I am commando 3/xxx already before FS, but grenades are abit too costly for my time that i'd be doing here. That, plus the fact that I have never felt comfortable using the danged things quickly, I went for the more traditional approach, and this is what it came down to.
Now, this was done on Corellia's Vreni island on the fast-spawning Rebels as a TKM. So, doing it on baz nitches/gaping spiders might improve your time as far as the spawns and drive time to the Village goes.
unarmed combat cap = 900,000. Converts to 30,000 FSXP.
equivilant combat = 90,000. Converts to 30,000 FSXP.
60,000 FSXP per combat cap round.
cap time = 2 hours. (say 1 1/2 for dathomir lairs).
buffs = 3 hours.
cap per buffs = 2.
buff session = 120,000 FSXP.
1 branch = 1,225,000 FSXP.
buffs per branch = 10.2
buffs = 12,000cr.
12,000cr per buff x 10 buffs = 120,000cr.
1 branch = 120,000cr.
120,000cr x 6 branches = 720,000cr.
10 buffs x 3 hours = 30 hours. (+ 2 hours village transit time) = 32 hours.
32 hours/~6 hour playing time per day = ~5 days.
1 branch = ~5 days.
5 days x 6 branches = ~30 days.
reaching padawan jedi = priceless.
there are some things in SWG you can't buy (Well, with enough real life cash to convert into credits over ebay... it's possible), but to save time and money, use this FS Grinding Equation.

So, mathmatically, you will be able to grind your jedi in a week's time per phase, as well as spend only 720,000cr. on buffs. Add a few 100k more for any mind food and WUKs and such you may use, and you're looking at about a million credits for your entire village experience. Much cheaper than the often-stated 4.5-6M.

Now mind you that's for Combat/Reflexes. At the low end for one line of Crafting you're looking at about 3mil in resources. But Combat/Reflexes the regular way is easily the cheapest grinds, and alright in terms of speed.
