he he he he, I've read many threads about grinding with grenades etc..
My wife and I grind with just one profession lol <blushes>
We are Teras Kasi's
Each day we get 900k unarmed exp which resovles in getting 60k FS exp
It takes approximately 18 weeks to unlock 6 branhces. In those 18 weeks,

It takes approximately 18 weeks to unlock 6 branhces. In those 18 weeks,
900k of unarmed exp each day is enough
Of course, over the weeks, it would've been faster with some powergrinding, I don't find that
necessary though
I hate having some sort of exp pressure on my shoulders
This works for me, no rush
Feel free to post any other suggestions, it's not meant to "poke" someone

I totally agree with you. However, in my case, I took 3 or so months off from the game recently and realized I only had 2 phases until I *could* unlock. Therefore, I decided to do the grenades to get my last 4.5 million xp in 2 weeks (and I did, but the problem is the last quest is bugged so I cant finish).
If I would have been active those months, I would have definitely gone on the 1-cap-a-day plan and would have been a lot happier (and richer in game).

It's all about how fast you want to be done with the grind.
Personally, the repetitiveness of capping unarmed once a day for 18 weeks would kinda make me a bit frazzled.
Also, I believe the ratio is 30:1 for weapons xp, so for 900,000 unarmed xp you'd get 30,000 FS xp. So, for 60,000 FS xp each day, you'd need to cap unarmed twice
Then you can do that in 18 weeks.
As for me, the grenade thing cost credits (had plenty) and required resources (dug em all up) to make grenades for myself.
I went from 30k to maybe 60k of FS xp per day to up around 300k FS xp per buff session. I decided I'd rather grind mindlessly for about 2 1/2 weeks, rather than do it for 18 weeks. Also, I fell behind on the grind as it was going to slow and was discouraging, whereas with the grenades I learned a box or so every buff session, sometimes 2, and I felt more rewarded.
So, it comes down to patience and how long you want to grind. I was more inclined to just be done with it fast and get to where the grinding truly mattered - Jedi Padawan.

The ratio is 30:1 so you are correct however they also get 90K combat with a trade in of 3:1 give the other 30K Force Combat XP so it is 60K per Cap.

I dont understand what do you mean?Do you convert combat xp into fs xp?

Yes, you can convert combat exp too
The unarmed exp has 30:1
The combat exp has 3 :1
So after 900k unarmed exp, you'll get 60k FS exp if you convert both of them
Sorry if it was a bit unclear

weapon xp is way too slow for me, I just want to get all my FS xp banked so I can get back to killing more jedi before I join their ranks.

I did 2 branches with weapons XP (was a swordsman at the time), and its not so bad if you're not in a rush and can keep up with it. But then JTL came out and I spent the last several months addicted to space, only hunting on the ground occasionally and just doing my unlocks but not having much XP to convert. I'm still addicted to space, but I recently realized that when the village goes to phase 2 again, I'll be able to unlock my last branch, yet I'm terribly behind in force XP. So I'm doing it with C12 grenades now to play catch up. Slower than with commando, but faster than with weapons, so it works for me. I've got 12 out of 24 boxes trained and a little over 2 weeks to get the rest in order to finish it on time. I completely agree with your method, though. I would have stuck to doing it that way, had I not gotten sidetracked and let myself get so far behind..hehe.

i have been doing a mixture of both regular combat and grenades. the nades are definitely quicker and i have settled into a nice routine of doing 1 buff session and cranking out 300k fs xp per session. It's not too fast paced and I only need to cap on combat xp 3 times per session. that's about 6 giant baz nitch missions total.

LOL I "unlocked" 4 branch's in the 2nd week and stopped til this pass week, grind got to me. But I was MS and added Tk to move along, squill cave androughly 45 min per skill to max and another 30 to max combat at 300K, 160K fs each trip 7 more trips should do it.
Still can only do that once a day though or the repetition would burn me out again.

I'm doing 1 & 1/2 caps per buff session as a Master Rifleman/Master Doc; I cap usually about 2 hours into a buff session, and then spend the next hour or so getting more xp. This actually cuts down on the total time it will take; 12 weeks instead of 18, assuming 1 buff session a day. Some days I can manage two or three buff sessions. :-)
I'm quite happy with this pace, because I don't have to lay out hundreds of thousands of credits for armor and grenades; heck, with my template, I don't even wear armor, just bio-modded clothing.
I figured I should get used to fighting unarmored, all things considered. :-)
