Dunno if this has been asked before or not so i'll give it a go. Ok first off I have finally unlocked my 6th branch and just need to get 2 more branches worth of xp. This should only take me a week. Now, as i'm getting close I wanna know if when I get the WP to mel I can wait to go to their. What I wanna do is get rid of my Nade branch and most of my marksman so I can get some nice medic skills so I actually have a chance to survive. Will this waypoint wait for me to do this as long as I need or do I have to go to it within a set amount of time? Thanks in advance for any answers!

Mel's waypoint works like a mission waypoint. His camp will spawn when you approach. You can take your time.
BTW he will always spawn at the waypoint you are given. If you die trying to kill him, you will end up going back top the same spot. Chose your spot. The waypoint will be within 2km of where the old man visits. When waiting for the old man, don't hang out in densly populated areas. Mel's camp might spawn a crystal inside a building and then you need to get a CSR involved. Don't chose a planet with a lot of aggressive MOBs. They can be a pain.

u can wait as long as you want i did to get some friends to come with me

Thanks alot! That really takes a load off my mind. Gonna take some time to adjust my template and get a group together so i'm glad its set up this way. Didn't know about it being within 2k of where old man visits though. That is pretty good to know. I was thinking about dantooine but I guess Lok would work as well or rori or talus lol.
