I'm working on Whip's quest for Vehicle Control. I found my first crate of supplies with no problem. I didn't even see the ship, I just drove over the waypoint and got them. However, on my second crate, I got to the waypoint and it gave me the "the ship should be somewhere around here" message. I've biked all over the place, but I can't seem to find it. Is there any way of tracking this thing down? Is it possable that it spawned in the river, and thus I'll never be able to get to it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Turn on the overhead map and ride around the waypoint in a circle with the wp on the edge of the overhead map - the ship is usually some distance away from the wp guarded by bunch of sith.

That was what I tried, and it didn't show up. Thus my wondering about it spawning in the river, maybe.

Yeah, zoom right out on your overhead map, it'll be a green rectangle-ish thing nearby.

I had this same exact problem. Go back to Whip and obtain a new WP. To ensure this doesn't happen again though, as you keep on coming back to the village, and your quest journal automatically updates, assuming you have the supplies,talk to Whip and get another WP anyway.
That's what I did. Had no otherproblems with the quest.

Also, each ship is within 400m of the WP, so if you have your overhead map up, and your zoomed out the farthest possible,and you don't see the ship, go back for another WP.

Yeah I talked to Whip everytime I came back and never had a problem with any of the wps.

I had this problem on my last WP. Couldn't find the ship anywhere in the area, just shot back to Whip and grabbed another and voila, vehicle control unlocked.
I don't think not speaking to Whip after every mission causes this problem as I spoke to him every time I returned to the village.
Its a painful little bugg just for that extra 12K of travel to grab another WP.

Mine bugged 3 times. each time I had to abort it and get a new WP from whip. Just pop the overhead map on and it will pop up. I think I went as far as 500m around the WP and found it. Wouldnt be so bad except for the rides back and forth.
