Im a Ranger and doing the force grind. Scouting experience goes toward the Sense tree. So naturally I’m using my class to grind for JEDI. Its an obvious decision right?
Under the new CU system, Scout and Ranger are considered Combat classes.
So why do I have to do MEDICAL CRAFTING to unlock the Sense branch?
Am I missing something? This couldn’t be a mistake by design. Could it?

not sure what you're really saying but when I had scout . . . all my scout XP from harvesting, running masked, and camping were traded in for sense XP. I though med crafting would fall under the FS crafting XP butI could be wrong @.@
plus I got to sell the meat and stuff for a little extra bonus ^_^

In order to unlock the sense branch I have to do "medical experimentations". I’m a Ranger (which is a combat class). How do I use my class’s given skills to obtain JEDI? Am I missing something?

I unlocked Luck instead pre-cu by picking up artisan, can't do that now though. It is really crappy that scout/ranger xp cannot be converted to fs combat or reflex.

OH i understand now . . . your talking about a specific branch
i thought you were talking about getting the XP to grind . .not unlocking the branch. different branches take different skills. I had to take up novice artisan to get the Luck tree open but my dancing and scout got me the XP to fill the boxes.
the only way to unlock the branch is to take up the skills needed . . probably master medic. If you're a combat heavy person, you might want to focus on the combat prowess and some of the hightened reflex trees and use those to get Jedi.
sorry about the confusion . . . but i sometimes get that way

I find it very odd that I can exchange my scout xp into reflexes xp, to abtain the Wilderness branch.
