Yes, they're very buggy. It is actually the first test of patience for you, my young Padawan learner. lol

Yes they are buggy at times. Rule of thumb. Dismount at least 150m out from the NPC Wp and walk to him/her. For some reason if you ride right up to him/her, there is more likely a chance of the mission bugging. Also if you are in combat, try to clear the aggro before going to the NPC. I had one bug because of this. Only my first mission bugged with a non appearing NPC, I got too ancy and rode right up to him.

after 5 times of going out to kill Mellichae I finally got him done. started the trials got through the first 3 with no issues. the fourth one took 5 times before the person at the waypoint didn't disappear. now I get the fifth trial kill 20 baz nitches.. no big deal, well I get back to the person he is there and disappears as I walk up to him. Yikes this is crazy

the big thing is if you are in combat coming up to the WP...
I only had 3 bug on me, and all three were because of this (all of them on Naboo ironically.)
so be sure to keep good faction with your city officials!

I have also noticed if I remove my armor( I am a wookiee and that stuff would scare Jesus) I have no issues I have had about 7 straight that are really good for me.

I've had 2 where i've chosen the correct option only to be told i failed and to do it again, gone back and done it again, worked great, so i've used up 2 of the lives in a sense of bugs, now i am left wondering should i still select "I can't help you" with the Chef Trial as per what the guide above says.

I only had two of mine bug, but I walked upto the NPC on almost every one. One that did bug was where I rode up and he disappeared, that was my second trial, the other one the NPC didn't disappear, hewas just not there.

mine were going well until i got to Grizzlo..the first time, the person he sent me to wasntthere...the next two times when i got to mos eisley after speaking to Grizzlo, i wouldnt even get a wp to where my contact is supposed to be..my patience was definitely tested seeing how i only have 4 trials left and gave myself plenty of time last night to do it..

I had 4 bug on me all on Rori and I did them the week CU went live. Apprently Rori is a big no-no for doing trials. If you get one for there, trash it and 're-meditate' at the shrine until it sends you to another planet. The killing 20-something missions are just horrible if you get back to no NPC.

One little tip, allways make a waypoint at the questgiver..
Two of my quests didnt give the "return to questgiver" waypoints, and I didnt remember who they were.. (after spending alot of time killing baz nizhts on Dath).
Its strange really, in all my gametime, I hardly had any bugs, never crashed to desktop etc. etc.. Then I unlock, and the games keep crashing time after time.. And bugs appears everywhere.. :/
On the good side tough, when I examined my krayt pearls for the first time, they were all premiums!! ![]()

Found pretty much a sure fire way of doing the trials. After spending absolutely ages messing around with bugged wps (one mission I had to do six times) despite the dismount and walk up trick, I noticed a pattern. It seems that for certain players on certain servers, different planets/cities are bugged. If you get a bugged mission in a city, just dont take another one there, refresh until you get another planet/city. Everycity which had a bugged mission worked 0% of the time, and everycity that had a mission that wasnt bugged worked 100% of the time. Also, dont listen to people saying x planet is always bugged, although a lot of people have trouble with Rori, every single mission I did there worked fine, as did missions in theed (although not kaadara or keren). Its an annoying process to start with, but once you have eliminated the ones that dont work, the later missions should be a breeze.
