What is more likely is you have enough experience to get the novice boxes. You will not be able to train the branches till you complete the quest for each. Then, you will be able to fill them.

You must do the quests...in one of those stickies it says that it will look like you can train in each of them but that is not the case. The only way that you could have a free unlock was if you started under the old system before the village and had done all the holocrons but given your registration date, that is impossible. Good luck with the village though

as was said, filling the XP bar in the box doesn't mean you can buy it (with SP) . . . The only way to find out if you can purchase any box is talk to the fat Rodian Paemos . . . and ask what aspects of the force you can learn.
