So I mistakenly unlocked Whip's missions(reflex). No biggie, it has ranged and melee defense right? Well I've got enough XP for melee defense but the npc says the only thing I can trainis survival 1. I have over 280kof FS Xp so I have the required points. Am I bugged or is that a different phase? Anyone know???

Each quest unlocks a branch, not a whole tree, so if you did whips mission the only thing you can train is survival, doesnt matter how much FS xp you have.

ok im going survival for phase one. my question is do we got to master survival to unlock a branch?

to unlock a branch you must do the associated quest. For Survival, you do Whips (hope i spelled that right) in Phase 1. There is a sticky that goes through all the quests and phases and what branches are unlocked by what so you might also want to check there.

Once you unlock the branch, you can apply Force XP to purchase the boxes
