Ok, I thought you only needed to master one profession in order to get on the path to Jedi....apparently not. I have a TKM, went through the warren, the theme parks, got my badges etc etc. So, here I am thrilled as hell when the old man shows up. After a while of just playing likeI normally do, the Sith Shadows show up to attack me. They're freaking cl 75!!!

So basically unless you want to master to combat professions, you are not allowed the priviledge of becoming a Jedi. I'll grind out master pikeman, but what about people who are master crafters with only one master combat profession? They are not allowed to become Jedi? Shouldn't it be based upon hard work, and not just your combat level?

The sith can be done with a group. You just can not loot until they are all dead or it screws up. If you do a group make sure no one is using a looting macro or they will screw it up for you.

Ok, now what do I do about the old man? If he comes again, and i taje the crystal I'll just get incapped again. So, I want to grind out pikeman so I can get to cl 80.....do I tell the old guy I don't feel force sensitive? Or do I just keep taking it from him and dying over and over until I am high enough to do it?

hehe another one has seen the light

Yes alot of people are indicating that the Sith ambushers are too powerful. But lets remember one thing . . . the FS unlock (aka the old man/sith ambush and camp) is just for that . . . Force Sensative . . . not jedi. People can become FS and not want to go Jedi. The FS bonuses affect crafting, surveying, healing, etc which may not help a Jedi at all . . . they were meant to suplement all types of characters be it the Combat Junkies or the Craft Happies. The entry levelSith should be calculated to the CL of the character . . . but then again . .they also want to have less Jedi and Since FS is the screen door to the house of Jedi . . .they decided to make it tough to open it up.

Personally I think they should have made the trials during initaite more difficult rather than making it so hard to mearly get FS.

The old man will not fight you just the Sith. Once you do the old man have your guild mates go with you everywhere you go so that you are always grouped. If you are in a good guild they will be more than happy to help you out. All the old man does is talk to you and give you a crystal.
