Just last night i reached the village of Aurllia, and being so excited i quikcly took a combat quest for the leader of the village. The quest was to kill 50 outlaws and 25 pirates. I tried it without buffs (b/c there were no docs at Coronet) and got owned, but thats not important. My question is, should i have started the quest, or should i have waited for phase 1 to roll around. What will happen if i dont kill the 75 sith i am supposed to before the phase changes? Will my character permanetly be messed up with being FS or will it just go down as incomplete and get another chance? Please answer this question for me because im pretty worried that i could have messed up something big.

You won't get credit for the quest. You will just have to start fresh with the next phase and choose a quest. Nothing bad happens...like you have not ruined your chance to become a Jedi or anything. And yes, when this same phase rolls around again, you can retake the quest with no problems.

You didn't mess anything up, and yes, you should take the quest. But the main thing is that you'll need a few others with you as well to, preferably doctors who can rez, rebuff and heal quickly, and combat medics as well for quicker heals. There is a very good chance that you will be slain at least once if your not careful.

You have to kill 50 outlaws and 25pirates, yes, but for a kill to count towards you, you only have to hit them once. So, as many people as possible can hit any outlaw or pirate, and when the NPC dies, it will count towards your quest completion. Of course, don't just run around and leave NPC's for others to actually kill, do help out and try to bring Shadows to those who are trying to finish the quest as well. But ifyou have 6 other Pirate and OutlawShadows around, andonly1 is attacking you, take 10 seconds to hit the other 5 Shadows so they count towards your quest, and make sure others get a chance to hit the Shadow that is attacking you as well. Thugs are the most difficult Shadows to kill, so do not try to take on more then 1 at a time, unless you can heal yourself pretty well.

If I were you, even though you just got to the village and you are still learning new things, I would try to get this quest done with before Sunday at the latest, that way you know you have one unlock under your hat. And next time Phase 4 rolls around, you will very likely be unlocking your 5th branch.

Dude if you wait then you set yourself 3 weeks back. It is best to take the quest and at least finish it asap before the next phase. If you don't finish it when next phase comes around then you will have to re-do it again when it comes back so it is best to do it now and save yourself from waiting an extra 3 weeks in the end.
