Thread: Will you get credit at village for holocron professions if.....

I unlocked a jedi before the revamp came out by using the holocron method and got a second account that is now a jedi...
My first account used 5 holocrons to do so and I am now approaching a visit from the old man on that account. Now in my bio it does not show me mastering 3 of the 5 professions I had to master to unlock my slot... When I go to the village will I get credit for this or will I only get credit for the professions that my bio shows I mastered which were holocron professions??
how do I ask a CSR about this... I have tried reporting a bug but no response????

you won't know how many free unlocks you get until after the old man visits and you can reach the village.

reporting a bug doesnt get u a response. U need to file a ticket, thats how u get help from a CSR. I had trouble with a sith spawn once and they respond within 24 hours. gl to you and I hope u get those unlocks, they'll help a bunch.

you will not get credit for the holocrons. Since you unlocked pre patch 9, you will not get any type of credit for the holocrons you used to get the second character slot. This was answered by Thunderheart a while back but I can't find the post on it.

I have asked several CSR and players in game and all say I will unlock all 6 trees free... I got visited by the old man yesterday and am waiting on the sith to attack me and find out for sure... I will post here when I get to see what happens..

I got credit for 0 of my holocrons.... Went to village and NO credit,,, So if you are trying to make your original character a jedi too... your holcron professions mean zilch

They only mean zilch if you actually DID manage to unlock your Jedi before publish 9. If you did holocron professions, but didn't manage to unlock, only then would you get the free unlocks. Otherwise you would have have 2 Jedi characters for the work of getting one.

I mastered 6 professions before the patch but didn't unlock my jedi. The holocrons didn't work anymore either. I got no credit in the village.

guys,
Due to the holocron professions being upped to all 32 professions by the end of patch 8, it basically meant that unless you ground out almost every profession, you got no credit.
At least, this is what i've managed to gather from reading the various posts about the free unlocks people had and how many professions they'd ground out to get those few free unlocks.
So i could be very wrong, but i'm just posting on things as i have read/understood them.
