Force Sensitive Archive

This is my 3rd day in the village, so I am not an expert anyway. I was wondering, if I am in the village and my status is 'on leave' during phase 4 as it is now, by fighting the Sith pirates and outlaws will I be changed to 'combatant' statis, they are not really part of the empire or the rebelion. It doesn't bother me eather way, I was just courious.

i'm guessing at no, simply for the fact that you mentioned, they have no factional standing. someone correct me if i'm wrong though
