Hey! Me again

So, I have now played for my 220 days of pure happiness (well.. Most of it .p)

And it hits me just now, I dont have a jedi... Not even close (oki, maybe a little bit close )

Have like 20 boxes left to go (AND, NO! I am not complaining, its fun to grind ) and 2 more phases to go through.

Many that I meet, that are veterans like me, all have jedi... I feel like I am the only veteran left not to have a Jedi...

OH MY GOD! I AM ASTILL A NEWB!... ROFL!

Damn.. Think I should go to bed now Just finished watching The Godfather on my laptop 4:19 AM now

PS: I am acommando, so I am used to flaming! THE SWEETSMELL OF NEPALM!

I've been here since launch and I don't have a jedi. heck I've only mastered one profession.
thats pathetic.

But i've had alot of fun along the way trying out everything but never playing enough because of college.

I see, well college is not exacly the best thing to mix with a MMORPG like SWG

I have a hard time mixing it with usual school.

yea dont feel bad i know a couple vets that aren't jedi..and even if u aren't who cares what other ppl say...if they say like omfg u a vet and u not a jedi just dont listen...jedi only brag cuz their jedi...not saying i dont brag but its not cool...being a vet is enough and the real thing that matters is that u are having fun

I've been here since launch and have not had had a Jedi. I will unlock this weekend and go on into my trials, but not pathetic at all. Sounds like you enjoyed the game and took your time like many others of us

Been here since last april and I'm (at least) two phases away from Jedi

I'm not ashamed of not having accomplished it yet becuase I'm still having loads of fun going on hunts etc. with my mates - My view has always been "I'll get there when I get there"

I did do nade grind but you'd do the same if you could only play during the weekends and holidays

I see a few different types of "vets"

- the powergrinders
those have jedi, hologrinded or whatsoever, all they want is XP and showoff (I did master X or Y in 1 day etc...) so they feel "superior" to others.

- the "tryers" (I think I'm one of those)
some of em have jedi, some don't, they play and try everything they can and want, professions, quests etc..., those usually have a greater knowledge about game mechanics (I know how most professions work, including entertaining, crafting, all combat and hybrid) cause as they "try out" things, mix and match templates, keep professions for a while, usually, most of em end up jedi or account cancelled.

- the "socials"
mostly dedicated players, guild leaders, role players etc..., they usually stick to fewer templates (if not one unique profession template) and they have deep knowledge and experience in it, I think about dedicated, "famous" crafters (usually DEs, are like that), they don't care about "being uber" and the long badge list, they're the "glu" that holds servers together, some have a jedi, most have "alts", they have maybe a smaller (in terms of variety) knowledge than the "tryers" but definately deeper in their own fields.

I know lots of vets who don't have a jedi and about half of them don't want one. Heck if you are having fun as it is now and not needing jedi at the drop of a hat then who cares. Don't think down on yourself about it. Jedi is actually something that you need as a "want" not a "need" because of the work to get one. If you are happy now but feel you "need" one just take your time then with the village and grind at your pace and since you have fun now jedi will just be a bonus plus it sounds like you aren't in a rush so that will make it easier for you also.

Alot of people don't want Jedi. I unlocked at Christmas and spent a month getting my unlock to Master Doc / Master Swordsman.

My main is now a TKM/Master Scout...... Any time I get bored I will just change one of the templates

When the CU comes along I'll probably go back to Master Carbs (very fun profession)
