Thread: You're better off NOT capping combat XP

I dunno if people realize that everyone's remaining FS combat grind just got twice as long. Nades or no-nades. Forget about grenades for a moment.
The took something which counted as 50% of your converted XP and slashed the conversion rate by 90%. That's why the total conversions all went down 45%. They took away 45% of your converted XP.
1 weapon capped, natural combat XP (no nades)
before: 1.2m weapons xp (40k FS) + 120k combat xp (40k FS) = 80k FS
after: 1.2m weapons xp (40k FS) + 120k combat xp (44k FS) = 44k FS
change: -45%
2 weapons capped, natural combat XP (no nades)
before: 2.4m weapons xp (80k FS) + 240k combat xp (80k FS) = 160k FS
after: 2.4m weapons xp (80k FS) + 240k combat xp (8k FS) = 88k FS
change: -45%
MBH + M.Rifles, natural combat XP (no nades)
before: 900k + 900k + 1.2m weapons (100k FS) + 300k combat xp (100k FS) = 200k FS
after: 900k + 900k + 1.2m weapons (100k FS) + 300k combat xp (10k FS) = 110k FS
change: -45%
1 weapon capped, capped combat XP
before: 1.2m weapons xp (40k FS) + 300k combat xp (100k FS) = 140k FS
after: 1.2m weapons xp (40k FS) + 300k combat xp (10k FS) = 50k FS
change: -65%
2 weapons capped, capped combat XP
before: 2.4m weapons xp (80k FS) + 300k combat xp (100k FS) = 180k FS
after: 2.4m weapons xp (80k FS) + 300k combat xp (10k FS) = 90k FS
change: -50%
MBH + M.Rifles, capped combat XP
before: 900k + 900k + 1.2m weapons (100k FS) + 900k combat xp (300k FS) = 400k FS
after: 900k + 900k + 1.2m weapons (100k FS) + 900k combat xp (30k FS) = 130k FS
change: -68%
Motivation aside, this is some bad news for anyone who is still mid-village. If you have any FS relexes or FS combat XP left to grind out you have practically ~2 times as many caps and trips to the village now. Good luck.
