I had the exact same thing happen as well, and had it solved the same way as well. The camp was supposed to be on the side of a hill, and there was even a round flat spot there. But no camp. I played tag with the CSRs for a couple days before I finally got a tell from one while I was on Dath (camp WP was on Tat). He teleported me to Bestine, and then to about 300m from my camp. Then he told me to run (not ride) to the WP. When it didn't spawn, he teleported me 300m in another direction and had me run there again. It took about 5 tries to make the camp appear.
When writing your ticket, it helps to be very specific about what is happening. This will make it easier for them to help you. It also improves your chances of being helped. If you had a line of people waiting to be helped, you'd start with the nice ones first too.
When I was being telported, I'd get the same loading screen you see when you travel by ship/shuttle. So to approximate what the CSR did while you wait, try flying to a shuttle port near your WP, but still more than 300m away. Ride a bike to about 400m away, and then run the rest of the way. If that doesn't work, take another shuttle ride and try from another direction. It may not work, but it's the closest you can come while you wait.
