Under the current Jedi system, do you unlock a whole new character (like in the old system), or does your current character just become a Jedi Initiate when you finish all village and Old Man quests?

I feel like this is a stupid question, but I haven't seen a clear answer in any of the guides/FAQ's.

Your current character becomes jedi but you unlock a new character that is not jedi.

Here's something Ive been curious about.... when you unlock Jedi and earn your second slot, is it possible to delete and recreate the secondcharacter? Lets say I make an Ithorian doctor with my second slot but decide I would rather have the Twilek dancer after all, can I delete and change or do I lose the slot entirely?

I believe the second slot is just like a regular slot. So yes I think you can delete him and restart if you want to. But I am not 100% sure on that.

Yes you can delete your second slot and make a new one. I have done it multiple times already.
