I just found out some pretty disturbing news tonight that you cant drop your FS skills after you achieve jedi pad. THIS IS A WASTE OF SKILL POINTS!! I know granted that the jedi grind is very long and you will want to keep some of you FS skills to aid in that, but when it is all done and your jedi is where you wanna be, you will have 24 skill points wasted on FS you wont really need. The Jedi skills are far better than any kind of mods you could get from FS. Not to mention that if you are just unlocking to get the free character slot (which is very much earned by the way for all the grinding)you are stuck with those wasted skill points. SOE has made so many unwise decisions about how to make the game "better" that its really not taking its throne as a Star Wars game at all. Nerfing of group missions has made the economy sink to all time lows! Geo cave loot nerfing. Whats next SOE????? Im afraid to ask..........

You can't remain a doctor without maintaining medic, nor commando without keeping marksman. Jedi is built on Force Sensitive skills. Why would they let you drop them. It was stated way back in March that this would be the case, so it's not like it's new news.

yes but pple that unlocked prior to the jedi revamp do not need these.

Incorrect. The Jedi revamp patch stripped all existing Jedi of the skills they had. They were given the xp they'd used to gain them, and then told they had to train 6 branches in FS skills before training Padiwan and respending the xp they'd been credited with. All Jedi have 6 branches of FS skills, whether they're pre-Publish 8 or post-Publish 10.

your screwed unless you have 6 you want. Remember you can drop a branch, but must have 7 branches filled before you can drop one. (you must maintain 6)

Just a Q about this: Im grinding FS just to get the 2nd Character on the server, nothing else. Will I be able to remove the FS skills I dont want, or am I screwed?
