Thread: sith datapad bugged HELP !

Posting this for a friend of mine who can't log in the forum tonight for some reason.
He got the visit from the old man and looted the datapad from the 2 sith guys that attacked him later.
Now that datapad gives him a waypoint on coreillia. When he gets out of shuttle, the waypoint is active. So he gets on his bike and goes to the waypoint, when he gets close, waypoint disapear.
Nothing there.
He says take shuttle to anywhere and the waypoint and whatever is supose to be there will re-appear. So he does that and the waypoint re-appear on his map.
Same thing over and over, when he gets close, everything disapear, no sith camp in sight, no waypoint on map.
So we tried one last thing before posting this, i went to the waypoint and i stayed 30m away or so while he shuttled again to activate it. He had the waypoint on his map but nothing spawned there.

one thing i forgot, right there at the waypoint , there's a white square on the map, like the ones for chest and stuff, but nothing is there. weird

This happened to me too I think (was a long time ago...) I think what I did was delete the datapad that has the waypoint, and within like 2 minutes of doing that, more sith showed up, I killed them and bingo, new datapad that worked...might try that

the datapad destroys itself as soon as you read it so thats not true. this happens to many people and has been posted sooo many times. shuttle as close to the wp as possible so that you can see the wp on screen. go on you bike to about 350m away and store your bike. continue to the wp on foot WITHOUT burstrun and the camp should be there. if this doesnt work and neither does logging off and on again, then i really dont know, but this method worked for me (i was told to do it by a CSR who was very helpful)

same thing happened to me accept my WP was in a city, so your friend needs to talk to a CSR and tell them that they need to come in game and help. its the only way. the csr will see what happenes warp you outta there and then make you walk ... NOT RIDE or shuttle 500-700M if that doesnt work (and it wont) then he will try to reset the spawn, and that wont work. then he will warp you to another planet, and reset your spawn and warp you around 500m away maybe 200m and watch you kill the spawn and THEN he needs to DOUBLE check that you got the data pad. trust me i went through this for OVER a week...i swearif a video game was gonna make crack up because of frustration this would have been the game and THIS would have been my break point. Once i finally got a CSR to come in game and fix it, i ended up taking a break because of my frustrations..... my sympathies to your frined. OH and tell him (this is SOOO Assin-nine, but i swear its true) tell him to go to the ONLINE chat room and talk to the General forum CSR (Pray its Jessica, she was helpful) and tell them whats going on and ask when your servers in game CSR is going to be working...yes you do not have aCSR that works everyday for your server, they take shifts and certain days ONLY...all the emails and such you get are from general chat CSR's...i hope this helps i know its long and all but its true.

I had my Sithcamp sith killed by a spawn of tuskens near them. CSR said he cannot help, but after server reload they will spawn again automaticly. And yes they really did, I killed them and now I'm in the village, even got 1 unlock....

Just to let people know, it finally work.
After 4 hrs of trying, the camp finally spawed.
He logged out for about 30min and came back in, when he did, the camp was there.

someone could have taken out that spawn. I ran into somebody else sith camp on Naboo before, i didn't take it out i know how frustrating it is to wait on them to show up.

hmm, Not to sure about this, I know one way would be to destroy the force crystal that the old man gave you, then you would have to wait for another visit & get a new crystal, that may Kick "Refresh" the quest, But i wouldn't try anything like this untill a few more people have responded here.
I know when i got my visit, i got the waypoint, half way to the waypoint, it disapeared from my datapad O.O, I was sooo confused, I logged out, logged in & it was back, went there & pwned the sith, I found out a reason it could have disapeared is because another player may have wiped the camp out not knowing what it was, thus removing it from sight, I say keep logging, shuttling, w/e, if it is truly bugged, you can try the above method, or a CSR MUST atleast look into it for you, I don't know freind, this has me stumped =/

This works. When I had the same problem, a CSR kept teleporting me to different directions about 300-350m away and had me run back to the waypoint. It took 3 or 4 tries before it actually spawned. Just put in a CSR ticket (the I'm stuck category) and do what Paulo suggested, but don't give up if it doesn't work the first time. Try it in all 8 cardinal directions (N, NE, E, SE, etc) before giving up.
