My advice is be patient and he will come to you. I logged in to do some crafting at my house went outside and he ran to me. Make sure no one is around when u talk to him even friends. And if anyone does come nearby ask them to not talk to the old man. A friend wanted to see him and he tried talking to him and he ran away. Then I had to wait another 3 days. Usually takes no longer then 3 days for him to come. Congrats and good luck on your village quests.

The only thing you have to do is wait. Go to a player city from time to time withthe shuttle and when it's your time he will approach you.

You can make him come faster by shuttling different small cities! Somethings fighting helps or logging in and out! I got him to come in one day! It took an hour or so! There are a bunch of things people say helps make him come faster but no one really knows if those things help or if he just came quick for them oppose to others! I guess it can't hurt doing those things though! Good luck with the village! Your going to have so much fun with it!

I'm waiting on him now. I've tried a lot of things. The best thing I could say is listen to everyone's advice. Just be patient and he will come.

just this afternoon, i got visited in a player city on Lok, right next to the shuttle waiting to board...

Was told, tat you cou can be in player cities, and he will visit.

Will he come if you are a) grouped? or b) Buffed?

I believe i was grouped, buffed, and in the Theed newb area near bridge when he visited me.
