Thread: Phase 3 commander escort: still bugged? (i.e. 1h timer, doesn't run, doesn'nt negotiate terrain)

Anyone succeeded in phase 3 escort mission this current phase 3?
Before it was bugged, i.e. you could only make it with the 3 closest forts, all other forts were too far away from village, so the commander would die on the way due to the 1 h timer (plus he would only walk, plus he barely could negotiate terrain)

I think I read in some patch notes that this was supposed to be fixed? Can someone confirm?

I jsut completed it on Gorath. 3 of us in a group, I lowered shields and agro'd sith, a tank to agro Sith as well and the third member escorted the commander. He walks all the way, has terrain negotiation but if you hita steep hill or valley 9 times out of 10 he will break off walk away and you have to recapture him. We got him from the second closest base, 3500m away from the village and we just made it in time, I'm talking minutes here. Wouldn't want to try it with a base any further awaythen 4000m max.

I just finished it on Corbantis. He does walk most of the time but a few times on big hills he ran down them to me. I captured him from the Omega base. I had 2 friends help me and we finished it easy. If anybody needs help, send me a /tell.

I just did it a couple of hours ago. He doesn't run, and walks in stops and starts. He does have terrain negotiation because we hit a couple big hills trying to avoid some aggro and he never slowed past his walk.


I did the 'chi base which was only 2k from the village.
