Bump because I want to know as well. There has to be a better way other than crafting 33,928 Heavy Warheads by hand - not to mention the fact that there is probably not enough of the right named resources on the planet to make that possible

My guestimate is that it would take 94 hrs of solid crafting grind making these with a macro, and finishing each one in 10s, using 8 crafting tools and still having to input the resources by hand. Carpal Tunnel syndrome is pretty much guaranteed with this root, and it would take over a month of 3 hour nights to accomplish this. At least with combat grinding you can talk to people and you don't have to click continuously every second.

Oh, I can make Heavy Warheads if I can find sufficient resources (it uses a few named ones) and they reward me with 700xps each. But its still gonna take hand making 21.5k of them to get all the exps I need if my math is right.

Lets see: 4.5 million FS experience is required for FS Skills. 3m of that will get me the 4 FS Crafting trees (16 boxes total) Weaponcrafting pay 1:5 for that so 3m x 5 = 15m weaponcrafting experience is required. Thats means I need to make 21,429 Heavy Warheads to make the required experience to turn in - plus many, many trips to the village to convert it. Assuming it takes me 15s to input the 8 ingredients required (I think is 8), and I use a macro I have that automates all the other steps other than entering in the resources (and assuming I switch my middle mouse to doubleclick when I click the scrollwheel to save a click), thats 89.28 hours total, and 171432 mouseclicks (342864 if I doubleclick). Talk about your mind numbingly slow way to grind.

There has got to be a better way than this, please someone?

Yes, yes, I know no one is forcing me to do this, and that I can just let it accumulate over time from natural crafting progression but with the amount of experience required that would easily take 10 years of playing the game - and the game won't be around in 10 years

I can see its probably much faster to go the Combat FS route, but I don't want combat skills because I don't want to be a Jedi, I want to be a FS Crafter with an alt who can go do other professions. Jedi doesn't interest me in the slightest really. I suppose I can do this in bouts of an hour or two, but it seems calculated to drive you away from the game as it stands.

Am I making a mistake somewhere in there? Paying for 21,429 Practice Mode Heavy Warheads also seems rather a daunting process, as they require a fair whack of ingredients.

Heh, what I do I check my harvy's every 2-3 days then go grind at the village so I won't have to keep going back every time I max out my XP, just an idea...

I've just started the grind, and I'm using advanced droid frame units (DE xxx2) that give 462 xp in practice mode for 150 steel and 70 fiberplast.

I have a friend who did it with Landspeeders, he said it was as fast as gungan heads from Architect.

Easy resources, you can even harvest on Dathomir if you have a fighter to fly arround collecting the harvesters.

But Artisan has low xp cap, so he was grinding with 12 tools and had to convert every 2 minutes or something.

Crafting mastery is by far the most expencive, most useless, most boring grind in the entire game.
