3 weeks is nothing if you've grinded a jedi
wonder where you got yours from
The time between phases is pretty much the only control for keeping the Jedi population down, since the path to Jedi isn't secret, and BH's get nerfed more and more.....
I think I prefer the old system, though without the holograms. That way, only the most dedicated would grind endlessly for theprofessions to unlock, and by the time they ground them out (especially post CU) they would be so burned out that they would slow down or stop playing....keeping Jedi somewhat rare.....
The village seems to make it easier, since there is no wasted grinding being done.
I would also prefer old way but srry to break it to you but i belive jedi are nerfed much more than Bh they did one BH nerf in this patch.. But yes i tihnk 3 weeks is too longwould much rather prefer holo grinding

Agree, that it is too short. I just killed the sith for my old man visit. I am starting the village grind today ( for the second time). I already have a jedi and i am doing it again, but I have been playing for 1 and 1/2 years now. The new weapons caps make it a lot easier too. 900k per weapon and 300k for combat was tuff.
would you like to lose your jedi and do the village again?
i know what you wrote, i'm asking you if you would also like a longer timespan if you wouldn't have a jedi or never have been jedi. it's a difference if you never been jedi and want to become jedi, and if you already have a jedi and grind a 2nd/3rd whatever one.
about hologrinding, yeah i'd rather hologrind too, but back then everyone whined that "the hologrind ruined swg" but i tought it was the way to go. mastering 35 professions (at max) you at least had something to do, you learned about most professions and how they work + you made money for your jedi life that way. i would've never grinded weaponsmith because i hated crafting, but the hologrind introduced me to a whole new aspect of the game (btw thats where this game shines , crafting).
3 weeks is long enough, to shorten it is unfair to the others who had to wait that time too. and btw 3 weeks is also a good timespan to complete some of the overrun missions like this phase 3 commander mission. to extend it would be an insult.

Not everyone has time to play every hour of the day as some it appears do. Most of the casual gamers work 9-5 jobs, have families, outside involvements etc etc.. SOE designed the 3 week schedule to benefit all who play.
