Do I "have" to wait for the old man before I can enter the village? I have no intention of going jedi on this account if that matters. I am glowie and waiting for him now.

ya you gotta wait cause he gives you some crystals that work like a datapad for quest itll start you off on what you gotta do

at least for a little while
