Finally old man came woohooo!! Bout time since it was almost the end of the third day.I logged in way out in the boondocks, waited for a bit (nothing happeneed) entered combat, and 5 seconds later he came.

My thoughts on this after having shuttled to every npc city on a couple different planets, and doing all the things mentioned by people and it not working until the third day are this:

I think that when you unlock glowing the game generates a random time from that point that the old man will not come before. This means that no matter how many times you take that shuttle or log out etc etc it doesnt matter a bit, because he will not come no matter what until you reach that specific time. I DO believe however that once you're past that time you DO need to fly to npc cities, log, and especially enter combat to get him to come.

I agree with what you said about there being a random time generated. It took him about three days to come for me. I spent a LOT of time trying all the methods out after 1 day, or two days, but I believe that there's nothing you can do at all to try to hurry the process.

Combat, shuttles, cities etc I don't think help at all. WHen the old man came for me a few days ago, all I did was stand around in the wilderness for maybe 5 minutes and he came.

I think that once your time has ticked, he will just come and visit you. I believe the only restriction is to not be in NPC cities.

SO, that being said, my advice is for people after getting their badges is to not even think about the old man for 3 days. Once the three days (real life time) passes, then I recommend going out into the wilderness and standing around.

When he came for me... I was trading items between my main char and my alt (my alt is force sensitive) The old man came INTO my house to greet meet, while my alt was standing right beside me... .... and then the sith came and attacked me when I was by my guilds lottery droid... every other recent FS member of the guild has been visited/attacked right next to our lottery droid.. everybody get one!

Old man came to me both times in my house first when i went glowy and again yesterday in my house to fight makiamea or whatever his name is. And both times is was 25 hours REAL TIME >

well .. i decided not to let the old man beat me !! .. i just grinded out the rest of my fs xp template and on the 3rd day i logged on and had him running up to me before i moved an inch .. i had just answered a guildies "hello" when he came up to me .... the way i can GUARANTEE him coming is to wait for 3 days then log on .. he will be there lickity split ... no doubt
