Thread: Surveying with FS Survey but no Artisan?

I've read the stickies, and they say that FS Surveying 4 lets you survey 64m even without any artisan. My question is,has anyone triedless than 4 boxes of FS surveying without Novice Artisan? Can I survey at all with lower range then, or is it 4 boxes or nothing? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Probably not. FS skill do not give you the command. For instance, you don't gain Mask Scent with reflexes even though you get +5 to it.
