Do Jedi and lightsaber usage fall under the melee catagory?

Wondering if I should go up the melee speed and accuracy branches.

There is much debate about this. When you mouse over a lightsaber in your inventory, it is described as a melee weapon. But that is the only place you see it described as such. The amount ofbenefit you get from these skill is hard to measure and quantify. But then again, all the FS skills are of questionable benefit for a Jedi. IMO the FS skill were added to prevent jedi from using those 24 skill points elsewhere.One thing is for sure, at Master Lightsaber you are speed capped so the fs skill would be of no help at that level. Given the other choices, they're better then nothing. I would advise however to open the first 6 slots you can. Don't wait for a phase to come around again.
