Thread: Phase I unlock questions

I have a question. I have completed phase 4 once to unlock melee defense. I did 20 patrols on phase 1 and did not get to unlock anything. Has anyone had this problem or is there anything to unlock on phase 1. I thought each phase unlocked something right.

...you still need to get the xp and go to Noldan to get trained.. you will have unlocked it if you did just 10 patrols, the 20 only being if you want the banner.

Is there anyway to check if it is unlocked. I noticed on the phase 4 unlock in the journel area it says unlocked melee defense or something can't remember but next to my phase 1 complete there is nothing.

dude i am having the same porblems i finish the first 10 patrols and unlocked nothing, i just finished the next 10 which is 20 patrols and got nothing unloocked or banner. I heard from people that you have to do 8 patrols consisting of 10 waypoints which equals 80 patrols to unlocked anything?

Huh?
One patrol consists of many waypoints.
You get done, you talk to the guy, you get another series of waypoints.
Do that until the system message pops up that you unlocked the branch.

The Quest is 10 patrols of 8 Waypoints. You talk to the captain he gives u 8 wp's upon going to them all you go back and he will give you 8 more wps. You will do this 10 times to complete the quest and unlock. To get the reward you do another 10 patrols of the 8 waypoints.
If you did not do this then you didn't complete the quest.
It doesn't show as a Unlock in your journal only way to check is to talk to Pameos and see what he lists that you can learn.
If you don't complete a quest and the phase changes you fail that quest.
