Force Sensitive Archive

First, I found a base and camped it for hours...killing all the Sith spawns and looting as many frequency disks as possible. I have failed this mission many times before, so I decided to be picky and kept looting discs until I got one that the Captain tuned to one of the closest 2 bases (these waypoints and base names are server dependant, so I won't list them all here). I got one that was only 3000m from the Village, so I was happy. I think the closest is 2400m...and 600m is FAR when doing this quest, but 3000m is possible as you will see.

Since I now had a shield remote that was reasonably close, I decided to get a team together. I macroed an advertisement that declared what remote I had and that I was looking for a partner/team to do the quest. Within 20 minutes I had a partner and 6 others to provide back-up. Make sure some are ranged to take out the turrets.

When we got to the base, I dropped the shields with the remote and the ranged guys had the turrets down so fast...I'm not sure how they did it, but I can say it's very possible. Myself and my partner took hits off our Health Crystals to make sure we stayed alive (you get these from the Vehicle Control quest and they add 2000 health for 2 hours, a MUST in my opinion). I stayed outside with some of the back-up and held off the reinforcements. As soon as mypartner got credit for 5 kills, he went inside and got the commander. From that point on he never stopped walking, ever. I got credit for my 5 kills, then jumped on my speeder and scouted out a path.

The commander is very picky about walking up or even down slopes, so I had to find nice gentle slopes for my partner to use. I scouted these out and sent him the waypoints. Straight line is not always the best answer...if the slope is too steep, he will turn around and walk away...costing you valuable time and distance to get him back under control.

Meanwhile, 3 of our back-up cleared a path of any aggroes and 3 walked trail to pick off the Sith that kept attacking. It was a long, walk...and very stressful near the end, as I've seen the commander choke on poison many times. But when we got near the gate and got the Mission Complete system message...everyone went absolutely nuts. It was awesome.

Great conclusion to my FS quests!!!

<font color = "red">Added Info:</font> The turrets were down before I lowered the shields. Attack them from behind a tree or hill, so you can dodge back out of the way if you take too many hits.

Once you lower the shields, you have 1 hour from that time to get the commander to the Village, so a group helps kill off the 5 required Sith fast and start walking...time is of the essence.
