I got attacked by the sith shadows, looted the datapad, then went to the waypoint that was given, but there is nothing here. The waypoint still is in my datapad, and activates everytime I travel away from it in a different city. When I look in the force crystal, it doesn't say any tasks are open. Can anyone please help me out here? Thanks for you time.

same thing with me i have been trying to work it out with csr for about a week very frustrating. post back to let me know what happens.

Where did the Sith attack you?
Did you travel to another planet, different from where you were attacked, and use the waypoint disk?
To the guy dealing with the CSR and this issue, I'd suggest asking the CSR to reset you (remove the disk/waypoint and crystal) so the old man will visit again and you cycle thru to the Sith ambush for another disk. If you've been dealing with the CSRs for over a week clearly they're not able to figure out any other method of helping you.

Old man came and gave me crystal. sith came and attacked me while i was in hunting party. i killed one and someone in grp killed other. Looted sith and got waypoint data pad. Went to waypoint nothing there. Left planet came back still nothing there. everytime i leave and come back new waypoint is in data pad total of ten of the same waypoint in datapad right now. I destroyed my crystal on the advice of players in game as to start the quest from the beginning. waypoint still spawans with nothing there. csr made camp and sith appear but still it acts like nothing changed. Once i leave planet mission is shown as unaccomplished. no sign of old man or sith. stuck any suggestions

Well, I sent in a ticket to see what they can do for me. I started to wonder if I had to wait 24 hours like I did for the old man and the sith to first attack for that sith camp to be there. Anyone have any insight, could you hook me up? Weather it be a smack in the back of the head from SOE, or some bug reported, some advancement in my jedi path would be swell.

Thanks to DannyG from CSR!!! After I sent in a ticket, they got back with me within the hour! I can't say enough good things about the customer service that I have received. Anyhow, back to the point of the post. DannyG dropped me 500 meters and spawned the camp for me. Very awesome!! So now that all that excitement is over I am in thevillage with about half of the SWG population on our server.
