there is a timer and it is stated all over the place that there is ...... its not like there is a clock on your screen( maybe there should be)... sorry mate but he died cuz the timer ran out ....
i guess i didnt make myself clear on the timer thing.
Well, there is a timer, but I thought it was an hour, and my groups first Commander died 50 minutes after capturing him.....
When you first capture the commander, he bites down on a poison capsule. If you aren't close enough to him, you miss the dialog and hence
miss that there is a time limit. Does it ever say exactly how long you have?
lol there is a secret timer. You think the devs would let you get one step closer to a jedi that easily lol no way they added it so that you would hurry. The timer starts when you start escorting. The commander will kill himself if too many sith are in sight i believe and if the timer runs out. For the no information about poison that is logical lol, i dont think a man that important wouldnt bring something with him just incase something went wrong or if he was captured, and i dont think he would say anything because that would be dumb "O LOOK I GOT POISON IN MY POCKET SO PLEASE ESCORT OR I WILL KILL MYSELF" lol come on man. Its like a spy saying hey i got poison in one of my teeth to his enemy lol. For the timer thing they could of added a timer saying something like "YOU GOT THE COMMANDER NOW HURRY BACK TO THE VILLAGE BEFORE HE DOES SOMETHING DRASTIC" that way it alerts you that he might do something either attack you or kill himself.
Anyways there is a base near the city like 2k away or around there. Can't remeber the base name. The problem is alot of hills and trees at this base that will slow you down if the commander gets stuck in the tree (happened to me once and i had to run back). Anyways i hope you beat it ![]()

Andthis makes you any better, coming in here name calling? If your going to be negetive, why do you even bother posting? Instead, maybe you should give some constructive criticism to the guy...

you are right. I shouldnt be negative. Thank you for correcting me.
As far as constructive advise.
There are 3 things that make the trip easier. (Well, 4 actually).
1) Keep the mark targeted, and keep a group around you to fight, leaving you to take care of the Commander. Keeping his /tar allows you to always know where he is. Keep your overhead up, so you can know when he tries to turn and run.
2) Make sure you are close enough to thevillage to complete the mission. The wait for the close bases might be long, but not as long as having to repeat the phase next time round.. get those close locations to the village.
3) Plan your route. Know without a doubt, exactly where you are going. Planning your route will give you advanced notice of what to expect on the way. We selected a fairly smooth path back, and only 2 places where we had to really work the commander to get him to follow.
4) WALK. Dont run, dont burst run. Just a slow walk. Keep pace about 10m in front and if the NPC stops, use the ~ key and 2 to make him follow.
