Thread: Rumor? Lucas Arts to change way to getting jedi?

I have heard through the grapevine that Lucas Arts is taking over and have in the works a plan to taking the FS village out entirely from the game.. As Far as I know this is rumor or is there some place on internet I can read something about this topic. I also hear something about a entirely different padawan type trials thing. Like Master and Apprentice training where a padawan will actually have to go back to a apprenticeship type dealy where he collects points while fighting with his master and possibly if a BH pulls a mission he has to fight off the apprentices master at least enough to kill the paddy... Any information that is constructive is hoped to be posted in response to this... I have 5 phases completed of fs village and lots of boxes to grind out and I dont want to change my build to grind out xp. I dont want to conform and like my build and feel I should be able to grind out to being a jedi without having to become a 0400 medical dancer that throws grenades at lairs.

Rumor. Guarantee if it was true you would see it all over these forums.

Yeah but the guy who told me is extremely reliable. I mean He said that trials of obi wan would be the destruction of fs village... not sure if that soon but possibly a lil after that... because lucas arts didnt feel that obtaining jedi should be done through grinding exp.

And this "Guy" is extremely reliable for what reason? Does he work for SOE, is he a dev? Then what you are spreading are crappy UNRELIABLE rumors.

If this rumor is true it would be a great change i would rather work for a Jedi then a village.

I dont think that is going to happen. If SOE gets its hands on any game, you can be garaunteed that you will grind. Yes, you will grind and grind and grind and grind and girnd and grind and grind and grind and grind and grind etc...

I'm hoping this is not a rumor, I'm getting tired of that friggin village. I'm more than half way completed it, but I wouldn't mind it being nuked for some type of real "quest based adventure" like we were first promised.

my cousins step-sisters friends uncles barber has a son that knows a guy at a bar who's father knows a guy that knows a girl who's friends mother etc.........
