Some people think that the new revamp is easier than the old way and some people think the opposite.
For instance from my point of view galaxies has made becoming a jedi a lot harder. I am not saying that it should not be hard to become a jedi but COME ON! They said that it would be a diffrent easier way and in fact it is the opposite HARDER. I have a new proposal on how the devs can change the game to make it more exciting and get more people to play. Now the devs dont have to to my plan obiously but they should take a vote on a bunch of plans in-game and choose a certain on that the majority likes.
My revamp would affect the way jedi and bounty hunter are played.
1st: veteran players should have a choice to either become a jedi initiate or not to become a jedi (and if they change their mind they will have to become e jedi through the quests or some other way)
2nd: bounty hunter should become more pvp against jedi and the weapons they use should be stronger.
I know a lot of people who dont want to be jedi's because they thrive on the thrill of hunting them i think that not everyone would become jedi but a lot of people would. (like 20-38% of the current players)
If anyone has questions or likes my idea reply to this thread and sort of start a petition. Now my goal is to keep current players and to get new players to play and participate in the game. Devs remember many people thought this would be like kotor (which it is not) and you would get to be a jedi well i bet at least 20% of the newbies that join through the 14 day free trial or buy the game and get 30 days for free dont play because it is to hard. Yes we want a game that is challanging but this! this is challanging but wastes our time while we could do other things all hope to acheeve by starting this thread is getting the way of the jedi to be a lot easier.

i think the new way is more work then the old way was really, tons more grinding mindlessly, capping xp hundreds of times the same way over and over and over.
but jus my point of view, can't flame me for having a point of view, or can u...........lol

Yeah, the new system I would say is better for a long haul. Considering most people would get bored quickly from having to grind the constant xp over and over. I didn't quit the fs grind, but I did quit the hologrind, due to lack of fundings. My first holo said Weaponsmith, my second said Droid Engineer. I think you can see why I said FU to the holo system lol.

alot of ppl are confusing the time requirement of the new system with its difficulty. the new system is far easier, if you want to become jedi, all you need is to pay for 4 months of the game and your almoast guarenteed. the old system the professions needed were hidden, even after the holos, and it could take far more work, let alone finding a holo was no easy ordeal

The hologrind had negative implications on the game as a whole. You saw newer players become disillusioned when they were unable to get help from so-called "Masters" who had little knowledge of a professions save how to finish it quickly, and players committed to their profession having a hard time finding suppliers for the same reason. On top of that there was a flood of junk on to the market as the temporary "Masters" tried to cash in on their grinding.
From the point of view of the well-being of the game, the switch to the village system is great. It has more or less eliminated the hologrinders and left people dedicated to their profession, whom it benefits with skill mods which are mostly useful (melee speed, for instance).
From the a lot of players' point of view, though, it is possibly even more tedious. While the hologrind forced you to do loads and loads of different stuff that you perhaps weren't interested in, there was always the chance that you'd stumble across something you enjoyed. With the village you are doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. I don't agree that it takes too long, however. Three weeks per phase and six phases is only four months with some mildly interesting quests to do and you can get the XP easily enough if you can only endure the tedium.
Personally I would rather have hologrinded but that's because I hate pointless, repetitive tasks; I do think the new system is better for the game. Besides it's my choice to grind so I'll get on with it.

Yes the mindless grind is indeed agravating. It is repetetive, boring and has very little to do with the path to becoming a jedi. I think we need a totally new way of becoming jedi. Many people has been asking for a quest based system and that would probably be a good idea.
I think it would be a good idea to come up with good ideas fot the developers. Especially now with the CURB on the way. The devs aren't even seriously looking into remaking much in the jedi path. Please help us make them change their minds when seing we have good solutions to the current problems..=)

After playing the game for a little while longer i realized that the new way is easy way to easy people are getting jedi it took me 2 years to get jedi. i think there should be a six month waiting period before someone could get force sensitive so it would cut back the number of jedis and cut down the numbers of nerfs on jedi.
