Do you have to fill all the boxes of a particular tree in order to proceed to the next quest/tree?

What I am asking is this: Can I just do the quests every three weeks and unlock the trees and gatrher xp for them later?

I have enough unlocks to finish, I just need the XP ... it should take a few weeks if I work at it, but it's going to be a pain trading during Sith attacks. I hope picking up FD will help, I know it will with the grenade grind.

FD helps with lairs...when you FD all 10-12 aggro on you and it saves you time and money! FD is cool...yes it is....
