Hey, i have opted to the medical quest in the current Village phase.

The quest states that i need to join a group and assits with 50 visits... what the hell does that mean?

Do i have to heal people 50 times? or find 50 incapped (not likely to happen with people buffed)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Yeah, the way the quest instructions are worded, it's confusing.

The way this works is, you have to join a group, then heal the players in your group who are fighting Sith Shadows. Each player you heal counts as one healing encounter for the sith he/she is fighting. When the player's target dies, you get the credit for one "encounter." Then, when the player moves on to his next target, you can heal him/her again, and get credit for another heal when that Shadow dies. It doesn't matter how many times you heal that player while he/she's fighting a specific Shadow. Even if you hit him/her with multiple stimpacks, it's still one encounter.

So, the thing to do is spread your heals around to as many members of your group as you can. Theoretically, it doesn't matter if you use Stimpack A's or Stimpack E's, although this is a tough battle and they'll greatly appreciate bigger heals. Believe me, they'll need it.

Oh, and don't forget your rez kits and buff packs! Parwan Nutricake is a plus too, in case you have 3-4 Sith attacking you and ignoring the combat types...

I assume rezzes, buffs, wound heals, and poison/disease cures and buffswill count for an "encounter" -- correct? No way for me to check this, since I'm only a Medic 0-0-1-0...

No they don't count. I wasn't able to figure out the timer, but the people you "HEAL" must be in combat with a Sith for it to count otherwise your just wasting your supplies. Buffs, Rez, tumble monkey's, ect do not count.

You can heal just 1 person, but trust me it takes a while. Its better to have a big group of people playing togather (tight group), and just set up the follow command and the heal command, and just run from one person to the next healing as need be. It took me 2 spawns to complete 100+ Heals. You need 50 heals to complete, and 50 heals for the reward.

Hope this helps.

Yes that is the reward.

A Bacta tank is that Healing Tank in the movies that Luke was in. They are just Decoration in the game. And I dunno if they are worth much considering a Novice Medic can get it. But I could be wrong.
