Thread: Buying your way through the FS grind... with a TON of credits.

A random thought occured to me while I was sitting around playing Diablo 2, why did it occur to me while I was playing Diablo 2? I dunno. But that isn't the point.

Smugglers can buy Faction points, correct? Correct.

Faction points can be traded in for Combat EXP at a 1 for 1 ratio, correct? Correct.

Combat EXP can be traded in for FS EXP at a 3 for 1 ratio, correct? Correct.

Should be obvious where I'm going with this. would it be possible to, if you had a TON, and I mean a TON of ingame cash, to blow it all buying faction points as a smuggler, and converting them into Combat EXP which you'd turn into FS EXP? Again, just a random thought that occured to me.

Credits > Faction Points > Combat EXP > FS EXP > Jedi. More or less.... but anyone know how many credits it would cost to do something like that? Hey, might be a new, if rather unusual way of taking credits out of the economy!

I suspect that such and idea is more costly than the end result would be for 99.9999999% of any smuggler

well smuggler can trade in 10k for 125 faction and in TC right now 100k for 1250 fp so for 300k combat you do 300000/125=2400x10000= 24 mil per 300k combat = 100k fs then how much fs xp do you need for jedi

1225000xp per branch = 12.25 trades in at 24 mil per = 294 mil credits per branch = almost the money cap 1.764 bil credits for jedi not including novice boxs have fun trying to work that up only the crafting elite could do that

I don't have to buy faction points.

There's a faction farm on corellia (wp later) that lotsa people go to grind XP, so they usually just give you FP unless they're saving for a base.

That's how I went from private to major in the rebellion in less than 3 hours.

Yup this is true. However, i love to come by overt killing tef'ed rebs here. Its the best place to catch em with their pants down. I kill at least 2 people every trip. Record so far to dateis 12 inbuffsession. Please by all means those rebels on radiant come on by this base

You have to admit tho. Everytime a Imp comes and jump out of the shadows most of the rebels (not all) are like oh sh!t and start tearing off to the base for turret protection. Though there are a few who afk grind there. I usually leave 2 of these guys alone (who are reb) as i know them and they are pretty cool people. They rest just die usually. Though to be fair not all of them have mastered a combat prof yet or know how to pvp.
