Thread: The Sith Jumped me but no Old Man

Just wanted to make sure things are working ok here.
Ive been waiting for the old man for atwo days now. No big deal.
About a hour ago 2 sith guys spawned near me and attacked me. They were very easy to kill like everyone said they would be. The only problem is I havent seen the old man yet.
Has anyone had this happen? Im sure I wasnt on a spawn point. They definatly were after me. They didnt drop anything either.
Let me know if you have had this happen.

My understanding was that the order is
- get 'glowy'
- wait 1-3 days
- meet old man
- attacked by 2 sith bandits - find disk with waypoint
- go to waypoint and 3 sith bandits and find disk with waypoint to village
If this is right then you should meet the old man BEFORE being attacked by sith
Try hopping from one player city to another - go about 400m out and wait for a few minutes, then hop to a different player city.
The old man gives a crystal which is WHY the sith bandits attack you - so if they attacked you without it then it might be some sort of bug...

Stratege you had the same thing happen then? If so then I wont bother to bug it.
Maybe its supose to be that way. I may havemissed the old man once while riding around on my speeder. Is itpossible that the sith start attacking randomlyaftertheold man shows up.No mater ifyoutalked tohim or not but you cant get the data disk till you talk to him.
Hopefuly its something like that.

The Sith may not have been yours. But loot em and try the wp and if you can get in the village then cool. But if you have never gotten the crystal yet just continue to go about the game. Don't shuttle from city to city and go 400m out etc. That is all false as it has NOTHING to do with the Old Man.

Yah I guese ill just wait it out. Ill wait till the weekend to see if he shows up. IfIjust get more sith until Sunday then ill bug it.
I know for sure they were for me because I was out in the middle of know where. No one else was anywhere near me. I was hunting with my pet and had stopped to heal him. He has over 10,000 hps so it takes me along time to get him back to normal with my crapy med kits.

What you can do is being that added that quest journal button now at the bottom (like all those buttons for your options and to log out etc.) CLick on the quest one down there and see if it says completed in anything.

Hey Axiom,
For some reason the only thing I see in the journal is space missions. Im not sure if they have implemented anything else. That or I have a setting messed up some where.
We will see what happens tonight. If i get another sith spawn or the old man ill let you guys know.

Sounds like you got someone elses spawn. Sith are usually keen to attack whoevers near despite showing up as Yellow on your overhead.
I'd keep on hanging another day for the Old Man but to be honest it wouldn't suprise me if a new bug has been added with patch 13.

If you looted the waypoint to the village then they were your spawns, if you old man doesnt show you can get the crystal thingy from a NPC in the village instead who replaces "lost" ones
