Thread: phase 4 repair quest broken?

I did the phase 4 repair quest to get the 2/4 sculpture piece. I unlocked the slot and completed the quest and he never gave me the reward. Has anyone else had this happen?
I filed a bug report and a csr on it but have yet to get resolution. I don't know what to do here. Are other people getting this reward? Is it broken? Do i have to wait 4 months to test this again to find out its still broken?

was your invintory full? I just completed this succesfully, on Gorath las night.

naw.. inventory was 30/80
it never said that it gave it to me, it just didnt give it to me.
a cool csr guy has decided to hear my pleas so hopefully, this will get resolved.
an additional interesting note.. after i completed it and it told me i completed it, my quest journal updated to tell me to go visit a gadget specialist which I had obviously done already.
To clear , I had to go back and speak to the gadget specialist again and PAY again for the tracking stuff that I already had and then it updated to being complete. So, if anyone has this problem, hopefully that will fix it.

Same thing happened to me today. I'm on Gorath. I had to see the Gadget guy to clear the mission and I also didnt get the reward even though I've completed the mission.

oh thank the maker! i am not alone in this... I'll post here with my response from CSRJasonC. He's very nice and seems willing to help.
i was starting to think this was somehow related to my phase 3 journal bug that csr refused to fix in the first phase 3. In that instance, several weeksAFTER completing the combat quest and getting both rewards for phase 3, my journal updated spontaneously one day when itraveled off of dathomir to say that i had never completed the quest.
I tried that same quest again in the last phase 3 only to find out that i get great error messages that dont allow me to capture the commander because i need to be in the group with someone who has the mission, even though i have the mission and my partner has the mission. I guess i'll never be able to clear this thing out or do any other phase 3 quests. I talked to a bunch of other people that had this same problem and csr told them all the same thing.. sorry we cant make any changes to the quest journal.... or wait 24 hours.. well ive waited for 5 months and it hasnt fixed itself.. oh well.

I did the crafters quest last time phase 4 was around and got the unlock and the reward but I also have the odd thing with the gadget guy - it says full quest complete but need to see the gadget man still - very odd.

Yes, the Visit Gadget Specialist part in the Quest Journal doesn't clear when you finish the quest. Pretty sure its been like that since the first phase 4.

This bug appears to also carry over to the Sarguillo phase 4 quest.
I took Quarek phase 4 3 months ago. I too was left with the unfinished journal entry after unlock. The gadget guy would not longer talk to me. This time I took Sarguillo phase 4. I took the first half of the quest and unlocked. Now, Sarguillo won't talk to me becasue he thinks I'm working for someone else (Quarek). Quarek will talk to me, but the Chief Scientist and the Gadget Specialsit will not talk to me.

On Kashyyyk the Arena Champion quest did not clear at the end. I fought the guy,finished and let him live, got the badge, but the journal still says I need to go fight him, but I cant even get into the area anymore because the quest is over. I dont know about anyone else, but bugs like this although cosmetic, can be very annyoing IMO.
