Hello. I'm about to hit Jedi, and I was wondering what types of professions I should be looking at going into Jedi. Would having something like Swordsman give me bonuses for lightsabers? TK for unarmored-stats increases? Any medic?

Thanks, looking forward to hearing everyones thoughts on it.

PS- by the way, I tried to do a search, but I either got 'no matches' for words like 'jedi' 'templates', ect, or I got 'the search engine is down'

Well I heard master rifleman is good for a padawan. When a Bounty Hunter comes for you just use the transdoshan hunting rifle, you can get from Kashyyyk to stay out of range and pwn that Bounty Hunter.

I went Teras Kasi Master for the defensive benefits since you wont get armor as a padawan (and I wont be wearing the robes)

I took Master Pikeman for offence and Doc 4000 for heals as well since its a PVP toon. Ill slowly surrender the pike skills for Jedi skills when I unlock, and I'll use the doc healing to heal myself when stuck in a root.

You can use an advanced laser rifle (i think thats the type) to shoot at a BH when rooted since it doesnt require a rifleman cert if youre template is already done and you cant take rifleman as suggested above.

I am back in the game after a SWG vacation. I would recommend:

1. Meditate line from TKA so you can powerboost and heal wounds and states.

2. Rifles for the added offense just in case you are not sure if you will live through the fight

3. Novice Doc at minimum, but there is a catch. When you use medic/doc heals it eats at your jedi xp, so you need to get force healing(minimum of 2-0-0-0) quick to maximize you jedi xp.

I would get 2 saber boxes, then 0-0-0-2 enhancer(force channel), then healing 2-0-0-0. After that, the decision is yours if you want to go offense or defense. Personally I am going defense.

My current template is 0-4-0-4 saber, 4-4-4-0 defender, 1-0-0-2 enhancer and 4-0-0-0 healing. I am getting pretty close to a final template, and I will respec out of my defender template as soon as my respec period is almost over. I just find that defender helps me grind, and at the same time I have high ranged defense(for Bounty Hunters)and good innate armor(PVE).

After I hit 4-0-0-0 healing I dropped all medic/doc skills and picked up 3-0-0-0 scout and 0-0-0-4 marksman. The marksman just gives me higher ranged defense and scout is obvious for the terrain negotiation.

I know I said a lot, but i hope this helps
