My current template is Master Rifles/4000 Commando/2040 Medic
I have seven points locked in the FS trees (wish I had known I could stack my points at the start)
My branches will be
Melee Speed
Melee Accuracy
Ranged Speed
Melee Accuracy
Ranged Speed
Melee Defence
Ranged Defence
Ranged Defence
Survival or Vehicle Control
My question is which of these two branches is going to most useful as a Jedi?
Some people say that the Vehicle control is so lowe level as to be useless and only the terrain negotiation and camp site skills of the survival branch work for non scout.
Any advice welcome.

Well best thing in each is well the Vehicle acceleration and Control but the survival tree doesnt offer much except Terrian Negotiation +5 which is not much.

I prefer the other way around.
+5 terrain negotiation is better than nothing and better than vehicular control. Thats pretty useless for normal gameplay.
But that my own opinion.

i took vehicle control and i really enjoy the fact that when i stop i stop when i turn its fast and easy no sliding about. its not so much an uber skill but removes a huge (to me) annoyance out of the game.
honestly none of the FS skills really do all that much and their effects arent very noticible. i have ranged accuracy, melee accuracy, meleeand ranged defense, melee speed, and vehicle control; the only one that has a noticable effect on my gameplay is vehicle control
it doesnt make you uber its just a convienance. but then not a single FS skill will make you the slightest bit uber.... get what you want

I personally find the vehicle branch much more noticable than the terrain negotiation...

Either or, FS skills dont really help a jedi period
+20 melee and ranged defense sure doesnt come in handy ![]()
I'd survival just because of the terrain nego, its easier on you even if its +5 when your out in the wilderness

I'm taking exploration but probably also vehicle control later
I always find terrain negotiation useful when I need to get the heck out of dodge fast on foot. If you wear the Themepark pilot suits you'll get some 10+ terrain nego which I think could come in handy as Jedi if you need to escape through rough terrain

For quick terrain neg, get a "walking stick" basically a +25 terrain neg polearm that drops frequently off nightsisters, just equip it and youre off. Ive seen someone testing it out and it makes a big difference

Well a BH is going to be able to beat you up any hill, but then again, if the BH is smart, they've already gotten your bike.
I'd go for Survival, +5 TN is better then nothing and yes, you do notice it (even if you drop from 50 to 40 or something similar). Not only beacuse with TN, every bit helps, but beacuse you're going to be on foot more then on your bike.

Will the +5 harvesting make it possible to harvest creatures w/o Novice scout ?
