Thread: What drops the most crystals?

Just a curiosity question here since I'm still 2 phases away from unlocking all 6 and then some time to finish the final grind (assuming the CU doesn't make that exponentially harder). Who or what drops crystals most consistently? I have picked up one from a NS Rancor tamer as well as one from an Ewok when I was on Endor, but is there any one group / thing that drops more often than others?

I've found the best sources for crystals to be:
Jantas
Tuskens
Nightsisters
Singing Mountain Clan
I know I'm forgetting something but can't think of what....
The crystals range in quality.. I think Nightsisters drop the best quality crystals.

A friend of mine got alot of them from the mercenaries on Lok.
But I tend to stick with the Janta, or Mokk, or NS
THe NS hate me by the way, so don't mention my name around them if you are crystal hunting.
I think it's because I freed alot of their excaped slaves.
And I guess the whole killing them for crystals thing.....maybe.
But whatever you fight, make sure it's the right one of it's kind. Like for the dantari people it's usally soothsayers, shaman and the like.
So forget the herbalist, same goes for NS or SMC, stick to the ones that really try to kill you, they're usually worth it.

Note that all of the mobs on these lists seem to have a chance of dropping either type of crystal atm.

Eked the question was not what drops crystals but what seems to drop the most crystals.

I think the Mokks and Jantas drop the most because they are easy to find and hunt. BUT if you are going for power crystals then you likely will get poor quality ones from them because they are easy to get. For the good ones you will need to hunt Nightsisters etc. If you just want color ones then do Mokk/Janta missions.

Thanks for this info folks - I've just stumbled across 2 up to this point, but I don't think any of them are power crystals.
In terms of Nightsisters - do any others drop decent crystals besides spellweavers? Like rangers or stalkers? They tend to be a little bit easier to deal with than spellweavers.

The crystals dropped from rangers/stalkers/tamers/spellweavers are usually only good or fair. Recently(past 2 weeks) I have been getting quality from Spellweavers. To get quality or better you really need to hit up the Elders and Protectors.
I hunt NS nightly as they are one of the last mobs in the game that present a challenge and can average 10-15 quality crystals a week. If you cant solo them just bring along a swordsman and doc and have at em.
Edit: to answer the original question Ewoks drop the most crystals.
