I just got the visit from the old man and waiting for the siths to come jump me. I have been reading everything I can to try and make this long journey as smooth as I can for my self. My question is this. I have mastered medic, doctor, marksman, rifleman, scout, ranger, Tk..
My current template is master tk master ranger. When it comes to getting credit for xp and converting them to fs will the skill be dropped? So if I were to use all my xp in ranger and trade them in for fs xp will I have to grind that back up to master to trade them in for more fs xp? I’m just a bit confused on this area.

Like I said my template right now is master tk/ranger, can I get a few suggestions on what I should use for a template? I would like to master light saber and the rest I just don’t know yet. I would like to keep tk if I can. There is so much to read and try to figure it gets a bit overwhelming at times. Seems like lately I have spent more time reading the forums than I have been playing. LOL

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If I have brought up old topics than have been asked a bazillion times my apologies, I’m just swamped with so much info I’m lost.

You can't trade XP you have already invested in Skills.... you can only trade additional XPyou have earnedso you won't lose any of your skills.

For instance if you have Master TKM, every time you kill anything with TKM skills you will get Unarmed XP and Combat XP - you keep earning this until it caps (900k unarmed, 90k combat) - everytime you cap your XP go to the Jedi Village and convert it into FS XP (30-1 conversion for Unarmed, 3-1 for combat)

Same with whatever type of XP you get for Ranger although the conversion rate may be different.

Oh and you are thinking way way ahead when it comes to Light Saber... you have to get 6 lines from the FS skills, which will involve 6 Quests to unlock whichever Tree's you decide to do (you may get lucky and get a few free unlocks)and you have to do the exit mission before you progress to Jedi PadaWan andcan start using a Light Sabre,if you grind solid you could do it in4 months or so.

Manding I can not say enough about commando 4xxx for grinding FSXP because you get all combat xp and the conversion rate is 3:1. It has cut my grind time sooooo much. Do it before they nerf it.

thanks for the quick response. iget the xp points earning now. that was great. and yes i will keep reading and learning with out a doubt. The saber statement was a "that's what i want" when i can get it. I under stand the un locking of the blocks and trees and branches before you can continue. When i can get to that level i will master saber. (But by then???) LoL

And i will give the commando route some thought. nice recommendation..
