Thread: Can someone tell me why this character isn't glowy?

This is a screenshot of my friend's character and her badges. Why is she only feeling a surge of the force? What is she missing?

looks like its 1 easy poi badge short on whats required... seems to have all the other badges needed tho

on double checking, i think it only has 3 easy poi badges, and 5 are required to get glowie... if ya pick up 2 more poi badges, i think ya should become glowie

all I would miss are the content badge but I don't know if the beginner badge count or not. So far as I know you still need 5 content to become glowy

the beginners badges do count as content now, as do the boss badges... so that character has 6 - 4 beginner, 1 boss (gorax) and 1 tp (nyms)

I got glowy yesterday by doing the newbie quests on Tatooine. It starts by talking to Trehla in Mos Eisley. After going through all of her steps, she will give you a waypoint to the mayor if you ask for it. Once you get to the mayor inside the building start asking about more skills. The 5 basic professions will be listed. I finally got the badge after doing 3 of the 5 professions. And afterwards, I started to glow.


Don't pay too much attention the /checkForceStatus message. I was at the "barely" message for the whole time until I glowed.


One other thing, if you are a Rebel Combatant on Lowca, you might want to go on leave before you head to Mos Eisley. You maybe able to take out the Imperial Guards but might not want to go through the hassle of getting into a fight around every corner.

The whole idea behind using badges to determine FS status was so that people would be encouraged to experience the game. Go do it!

you need a master badge and didn't see the 2nd jedi POI (jedi temple on dant) and try to get the library badge the theed naboo

from the image provided, the character does have a mastered profession badge (... has mastered the brawler profession. - the profession doesnt have to be an elite one) and has all 3 jedi poi badges (exar kun temple, ruined jedi temple and ben kenobis house). the only thing the character seems to be lacking are easy poi badges.


not sure if the trivial librarian badge would count as one of those...


the character has: 1 mastered profession badge,6 content badges, 3 jedi poi badges, 3 hard poi badges and 4 easy poi badges
