Thread: Old Man came for a visit

So, I just recently got the glow and have read that the Sith Shadows are around 70-78 CL and I am only 58. I decided to not follow the instructions on staying outside of town and just do combat missions thinking that would keep the old man away...


I was mistaken or misinformed...


While I was taking care of the last Imperial soldier, the old man comes strolling in and tells me that he has something to discuss with me... I could have just walked away but I just couldn't. Now I am with crystal and constantly looking over my shoulder for those Sith Shadows.

they WILL kill you. but the Old Man will come as many times as needed. came for me at least 5.

AHHHH they make it way too easy to be fs anymore. Why cant they bring back the hologrind or such which u had to be lvl 80 pretty much to get fs .... or atleast learn a few profs. Now adays you guys are getting fs before you even complete 1 elite prof. That is really sad. You need to be more experiences before you can be fs. Yea some of you guys deserve it and shoudl be fs, but a lot of people are dumbos who dont really deserve it at all

They can't help it. SOE made it so the 4 newb mos eisley quests give content (theme park) badge credit. Then all they need is some POI's, nyms themepark, and master a profession.

becoming force sensitive easily doesn't matter. If they dont have a CL high enough, they wont be able to do much without alot of help...not too mention they will learn alot about their profession with as much grinding as they will have to do to unlock jedi.

Yup. I got beat badly by those Shadows. I am grinding as fast as I can to 80. I have Pikeman left. My current template is going to be MTK/MPike Doctor 0004. I've got the first row of Pikeman and am planning on respec'ing my character to finish up the Doctor skills. I am Doctor 0002. It's just hard to grind those up. I know I could do it faster if I group but I've never been much ofa grouper.

I'll admit I wouldn't mind them changing the requirements for glowy to 2 elite professions mastered instead of just any one profession. That would make the person getting glowie most likely level 80. (If they are not crafters).


When i got glowie I didn't even have JTL and there were only 5 content badges you could get. So I had to get prepared for a tough fight just so I could do the warren....and we used to walk to and from our trainer....uphill both ways.

if you put the crystal in the bank you can sit on it till youre ready or have some help.


the sith will still spawn (much to the delight of high CL characters in the area as well as lookie-loo n00bs who think sith are only legand)


but they wont attack you, they'll just stand around being fodder for high cl's.


be advised that you can not loot a working datapad unless you have the crystal in your posession.


so you can group with folks and kill them if you want, but you cant progress unless you have the rock.





Ugh! I give up, I can't justify paying for this any more.
