Like Paulo said, he'll come to you in time. The average wait is two days but he came to me at exactly 24 hours after completing my 6th branch. Spend you time in player cities or out in the wild. He came to me as soon as I got off the shuttle in a player city. Congrats!

If you have 6 columns full and completed, it's just a waiting game. Just got my second visit. Took him 25 and a half hours for him to see me, but who was counting

I finished yesterday and im wating on the old man as well. Its almost as bad as the grinding having to stare at the computer for hours on end waiting for this old fart. Hopefully he comes soon been waiting 14 hours so far.

hehe, it only took me like 14 hours to find the old man. I just shuttled in to do some shopping and there he was.

yes.... but
Mel will spawn within 2000m of where you are visited. If you are in a dense housing area, you may have his camp's crystalsspawn inside a building. Then you need to get a CSR involved. Go to a remote area and save yourself aggrevation.
Also pick a planet that doesn't have a lot of agressive spawns. They can be a pain.

Now, were you people saying 24 hours real time or 24 hours of logged in time? If it's real time, I say get some sleep. Patience, young grasshopper.

I just finished up at about 1 AM last night, I figured I am just going to take a break from the game and skip playing tonight. Tomorrow, hopefully I can get my crew together and kill Mel. This is what I did after I got glowy too, and first shuttle I hoppped to a player city, he came and saw me.
If you are impatient, just goto a player city and grind out some credits doing missions and ensure that you have your template in order for the jedi grind. You could also go to fort tusken and hunt color crystals, or do one of those many things in game you haven't enjoyed in a while. I don't think I'd hang at krayt graveyard or on dath because they might further complicate your fight with mel.
Heck you might even read the stickies about the pad trials, just so you know what to do and where to go when you get those missions.

Thanks that helps, dont need my mel spawn within a bunch of houses but the way its going so far im kinda thinking that oldfart will never come been staring at my screen for about 15 hours now and still nothing. The old man says something to you right so you know that he did vist you if you were afk?
