When you complete the phase 3 quest grouped every one in the group gets a teal crystal the buff crystal and the unlock. You cannot get more than one crystal, it does not matter who the group leader is or how many times you do the quest.

only 2 people will get credit for the quest. Your entire group WILL NOT get credit. The mission has to be done in 2 parts. One person needs to deactivate the base shields, the other person needs to go in and capture the commander. Only these 2 people will get credit. Also, you need to make sure that these tasks are done by 2 different people. If one person does both, only that person will get credit for the quest. So basically, you can do the mission with as many people you want, but only the person who deactives, and the person who captures will get credit.
Also, you got the rewards mixed up. If you do it solo you get the color crystal. You have to be grouped to get the buff crystal, and it is a mind buff not a health buff.
