WE are trying with a group of five including two Jedi and no luck but for one.

ONLY 1 person kill the crystals

Started SWG On 12/16/04
Stoped SWG on 11/20/05
Sub Runs Out on 1/07/06

I tried it many times melee than switched to a laser rifle and all crystals vanished.

My conclusion: Do it ranged, even if you dont have the skills.

And green before red.

One of the crystals should not be healing, determine which one it is and concentrate on that one, wash rinse & repeat until they're all gone.

We have one crystal down to zero and it won't blow up.

The others heal so fast we cannot kill them.

THeres some trick to get around this. I dont know what it is, but I am sure someone else around here does.

So far we have gotten two down to zero and one gone.

We had to attack Mal at the same time we attacked the crystals then we could take them down.

However with the two at zero it looks like they are still getting healed.

Mal and his buddy that is.

ok i told you what to do. take them out 1 at a time. the green than the red and ONLY 1 person take out the crystals if not it will bug. but if u want to drag mel about 1-2k away from camp u can kill him that way

So heres the deal.

We got 1 down, other 2 to zero and they still healed Mal and his buddy.

CSR came and knocked out the two at zero.

Boom, mission complete.

Conclusion:

As stated in another thread, only the mission holder can take out the crystals, apparently.

Otherwise, hope you get a good CSR.

this is how I did it !

make sure you kill the crystals without agro any NPC .starting from the green crystals ..at this point if you agro any NPC the quest will be bugged

how to kill the crystalls without agro?...get a long range rifle and make sure you stay away 62 to 65 meeters well make it as far as your rifle can reach.(don't need to be rifleman or marksman Im TKA M/Swordsman M/brawler and medic 4040). after you kill the crystals crfull do the same stay at long range and lure each lower level sith's they like level 77 and 78 fight this solo swiching weapons when they come for you for another words you need to kill one by one without agro more then 2 at this point when you done all that waite till Mell friend level 100 walks away from and shoot at mell he will charge at you kite him for a litle wile but stay in the 60 meeter range from the camp or he will despawn after a wile..betwin kitte him with rifle and meelle him till you can't heal yourself keep doing that for a good 30 minut fight lol...once his dead you finish the quest you don't need to kill the level 100 ..thats how I solo this quest..I hope this help !
